Staying Rural Digital Project Meeting February 2021
The Staying Rural Project Team meet virtually in February 2021
The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic meant that travel between countries remained restricted during February 2021. Unfortuately this meant that the scheduled project meeting in Belfast between the Dutch, German, and Northern Irish partners could not take place. However, modern technology enabled the team to meet virtually once again on 10-11th February.
Alongside discussions on contributing to upcoming conferences and other project practicalities, updates were also provided on the ongoing data collection phase. This includes conducting 45 interviews with the different types of 'stayers' in each of the study areas. To date, in the space of under 8 weeks, over one third have been completed, with some interesting themes emerging.
